Flower Care Tips
-
Place a decorative container with 2 to 3 inches of water on the bridal table to set the bouquet into during the wedding reception. The bouquet will become a centerpiece and remains hydrated and fresh in the container.
-
Fill the appropriate-sized clean vase/container with lukewarm water. Water that is too hot or too cold may shock the flowers and can result to premature wilting.
-
If your bouquet comes with a flower food packet, you can use the flower food for longer lasting flowers. Please follow instructions at the back of the pouch.
-
You can spray your wedding bouquet with floral sealant for an optional boost.
-
Keep fresh-cut bouquets in vases of water between, before and after pictures and the ceremony to keep flowers from wilting.
-
Do not put your flowers in a regular fridge where you store food. Flowers can get sick if they’re exposed to food bacteria.
-
Keep the bouquet away from heat sources or freezing temperatures.
-
Trim about one inch off of the bottom of your stems at an angle. An angled cut creates a larger surface area for water absorption and prevents your stems from sitting flat in the container which will block water absorption.
-
Change the water and re-cut the ends of your flowers in an angle every other day for longevity.
